How paying works

Most families pay weekly by autopay in our parent app, and you can pay by check instead. Your first week of tuition and the registration fee hold your spot, and your first week is applied to your last.

Autopay keeps going each week until you tell the office in writing that you’re leaving or changing days, with two weeks’ notice. You can pause it only by leaving or changing days; a week your child is away is still a paid week, because the teacher and the spot are still there.

We review tuition once a year, in August, and send the new rates in writing by June 15. You’ll never be charged a rate you haven’t seen.

Help paying

We take CCCAP and Universal Preschool Colorado

We’re a provider for the Colorado Child Care Assistance Program (CCCAP), run through Boulder County for families who live there, and we hold a few spots for CCCAP families. What a family pays is set by the county; we charge no registration fee. We’re also a Universal Preschool Colorado provider for the year before kindergarten, which covers part of Herons’ tuition; we apply it to your bill and you pay the rest.

Medicaid doesn’t pay for child care. If your employer offers a dependent care account, we’ll fill in a Form W-10 on request. Bring your questions on a tour, or call Marisol.
