Accessibility
We want every family to be able to use our website and visit our center.
Our building
Pocket Creek is on one floor. The front entrance has no steps, the hallways and classroom doors are wide, and there are two accessible parking spaces by the door. Our restroom is wheelchair accessible. Service animals are welcome on tours.
Children with disabilities
We welcome children with disabilities and developmental delays. Talk with Marisol before or after a tour: she’ll tell you honestly what we can do and what we can’t, and with your permission we work with your child’s therapists, who can visit during the day.
Language and communication
We speak English and Spanish with families. If you’d like another interpreter or a sign language interpreter for a tour, tell us a few days ahead and we’ll arrange one at no cost to you. We can give written materials in large print.
Our website
This website is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, in mind, and it’s checked for common accessibility problems each time it’s updated. Pages work with screen readers and keyboards, text can be zoomed, colors are checked for contrast and photos have descriptions. Automated checks catch only part of the problems, so please tell us if something doesn’t work for you.
