Substitute Teacher (on call)

We keep a short list of substitutes we know and trust, so rooms always have the people the children know.

What you’ll do

Cover a room when a teacher is out, following the lead teacher’s plan. Most days are 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and we ask a day ahead when we can.

What we’re looking for

Experience with young children, such as teaching, nannying or raising your own, and a fingerprint background check. Pediatric first aid and CPR within 30 days of starting.

Pay

$19 an hour, paid every two weeks. Work as many days as you like.
